Creative ways of doing business

Colbert Custom Framing & Art Printing utilizes a variety of methods and technologies to provide custom art and framing products their clients love.

Design consultation - Colbert Custom Framing & Art Printing is a 5,000 square foot facility, where clients meet individually with a personal designer, at their own design counter, with ample comfort and personal space. Those who have been to Colbert’s know they can expect a calm, uncrowded, pleasant experience.

Alternatively, clients can choose to schedule a video consultation (via Facebook, Google Hangouts, or Zoom). This is a great option for those who wish to stay home or can’t make the trip to the store.

Point of Sale software – The company’s order entry process has been computerized since 1996 and is perfectly suited to record order details and access client history.

Mitre Saw and Underpinner – These machines aid in the precision and quality of all joined frames.

Computerized Mat Cutter (CMC) – This machine provides accuracy and offers creative options for every mat cut. Mat windows can be a standard rectangle,

High-resolution scanner / Graphic design software – The high-resolution scanner and graphic design softwares, such as Photoshop, are used to create custom artwork, digitally restore faded or damaged images, or format special imagery or text to include in a framing order. For artists who want to reproduce their works, these technologies are sued to offer color matching services so the prints look as close to the originals as possible.

Large-Format Art Printers – Clients can order prints really small (ex. a photo to go in a locket) or really large (up to 60” wide on one dimension and many feet long on the other dimension). All prints are printed with pigmented inks, which are fade-resistant. Colbert’s offers a variety of paper options, including canvas, photo papers, fine art papers, and repositionable fabric sticker.

Colbert Custom Framing & Art Printing is currently running its $5 off every $25 sale on custom framing orders through November 30. Orders that use in-stock moulding and in-stock matting qualify for additional design options and savings. The on-site warehouse contains thousands of feet of high-quality moulding and sheets of matting.
