Owners: Kevin and Sue Colbert
We are a third-generation, award-winning, entrepreneurial family. Our
patriarch, Tom Colbert (The Great Gonzumaka), and his wife Mary,
opened the first location in 1987 as a small custom and do-it-yourself
picture framing franchise. In 1995, we bought the business when my
parents retired. Within a few years, the business grew to three locations
and a central warehouse facility and became an industry leader in the
use of technology.
Throughout the years, all of Tom and Mary's eight children worked in the
business in some capacity, and now all three of our children are
involved. We have been named Small Business of the Year by the
5-Star Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce (one of the largest
Chambers in the nation) and we were named one of the top four family
businesses in Illinois, as well as the Suburban Business Ledger Award
for Excellence in Retail and Decor Magazine's Nation's Top 100
Framers.
Our motto, "You're Going To Love It", was written by our customers,
because so often they say, "I love it!" when they come in to pick up their
pieces. We have continued Tom and Mary's philosophy of exceptional
customer service and commitment to community involvement. We are a
family who works together, plays together, laughs together, faces
struggles together, and prays together. We love art, family traditions,
heirlooms, and all the wonderful things we get to print and frame. And,
of course, we love our customers who make it all possible.
